"A group of our seniors were walking along the lakefront. As the walk continued, they spread out more. One of the women near the end of the group noticed a few young men following her. Remembering your advice, she turned to look directly at them. They stopped. She started walking again, and they followed her. She stopped, looked directly at them, put out her hand, and yelled, "Stop! Go away!" The young men looked surprised, and then the young men left. Later, the seniors later discussed this incident. They determined that they would stay closer together on future walks."
"Last week I was in a retail store shopping, when a man approached me and began behaving in a lewd and offensive manner. I moved away to another part of the store, and this man proceeded to follow me. He continued this intimidating behavior while moving closer to me. I was then able to use the tools acquired from the FullPower class to set a clear and effective boundary with my voice and physical stance. This attracted the attention of the security personnel who then escorted the man out of the building."
