Self Protection and Violence Prevention Training for Adults
In our lifetimes, we face a higher risk of dealing with a violent assault than of being in a serious car accident. Yet learning to protect ourselves is much less complicated than learning to drive a car. We offer self protection workshops for adults of all ages and abilities. Our classes are for men and women. We offer classes for men and women together as well as women only and men only.
FULLPOWER programs give women and men the opportunity to practice taking powerful action in the face of trouble. Students learn how to protect their personal boundaries, de-escalate a threatening confrontation and fight off a potential attacker.
Both Everyday Safety Skills and Full Force Self Defense programs are offered in a variety of formats, including one-day or evening introductory workshops, programs for women or men only, and an intensive training of twenty hours or longer.
We have trained tens of thousands of children, teens and adults. Our central focus is creating an extremely safe (physically and emotionally) learning environment for our students while ensuring high quality service.
All instructors are highly trained and strive for excellence in their teaching.
Everyday Safety Skills
The majority of our workshop focus on skills that you can use "everyday" to keep yourself safe. These workshops include boundary setting, violence prevention and awareness skills.
